Customs Clearing Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Responsible for customs compliance regarding clearing operations
- To ensure proper submission of customs documents required to facilitate clearing of imported cargo
- Coordinate Forwarding Operations
- To liaise with officials in various agencies to ensure goods are cleared through customs or quarantine.
- Maintain a good relationship with ZRA to ensure smooth operations
- Manage customs documentation for clearing and forwarding
- Service clients by advising on most effective and efficient mode of cargo movement, most appropriate routes, legislative requirements and educates on emerging trends in the industry
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree/Higher Diploma in Logistics/ Supply Chain Management or related field
- At least 4 years proven experience in the clearing
- Full and deep knowledge of customs clearing of various category, such as RIB, RIT and
- Leadership skills
- Proficient in practicing customs clearing of various categories
